A Structured Developmental Model for Boys’ Behaviour and Leadership
Overview
The R.E.S.P.E.C.T Framework provides a structured developmental pathway supporting boys to move from behavioural awareness to accountable peer influence and positive cultural leadership.
Rather than focusing solely on managing incidents, the framework addresses the underlying drivers influencing behaviour — including emotional regulation, peer hierarchy, identity formation and decision‑making under pressure.
It underpins all MPW Coaching & Consulting intervention pathways.
Why a Developmental Framework is Necessary
Surface behaviour is often a symptom.
Repeated disruption, reactive responses and escalating peer dynamics are frequently influenced by:
- Emotional regulation capacity
- Status and hierarchy within peer groups

- Impulsivity linked to developmental stage

Without structured developmental intervention, these drivers continue to reproduce patterns, even within strong behaviour systems.

Application Through Structured Pathways
The framework is delivered through two structured intervention pathways:
Behaviour & Accountability
Targeted 12‑week intervention for boys with repeated behavioural patterns.
Respect & Safeguarding
Structured programme addressing harmful behaviour, boundaries and peer culture. Both pathways follow the same developmental spine while addressing different presenting needs
